Buses between Geneva and Paris

There are several international bus routes connecting to Geneva and Eurolines is one of them. They offer direct buses between Paris and Geneva on alternative days from Sunday. Visitors will get to experience the famed landscape during the night hours. This journey takes about 8 hours and 15 minutes.

Road Trip from Geneva to Paris

The road trip from Geneva to Paris is beautiful, and it comes highly recommended if you have the time to stop along the way and enjoy the scenery, but do be aware that during the winters the road is known to be treacherous and the toll gates charge a hefty fee.

There are three recommended routes the A6, A5 and A77A40 for the approximate 541 kilometer drive between Geneva and Paris. It is possible to cover this distance in about 5 hours 40 minutes, but this journey is costly and will cost you more than the train. Driving on any of the routes is beautiful as the crisp air and pristine surroundings relax you, but parking in either of the cities can be very expensive.
