Going to sauna in Geneva

Geneva offers a wide variety of Saunas to choose from: finnish, swedish, dry or humid, mixed or ladies only. Saunas are always connected with a cold water pool or showers. Silence is required.

Sauna at Bains des Pâquis

The most popular public sauna in Geneva, sauna at Bains de Pâquis is uniqe for it's wide windows overseeing the lake and fountain. Yet it is not always full of people.
Sauna consists of Swedish and Finnish sauna and in fact is a part of bigger complex - Les Bains des Pâquis - The Baths of Pâquis - compromising of 2 saunas, hammam and turkish baths, with the cooling down straight in the lake.
Sauna is closed from mid March to mid September.
Entry: CHF 20 to whole complex Les Bains, CHF 13 on Mondays.
Clothing etiquette: no swimsuit required, although most women do wear a swimsuit.

Vernets, Varembe Saunas

Vernets Sport Center and Varembe Sport Center both have a sauna together swimming pool (50m and 33m) for single entry price (CHF 6 / CHF 3).
Sauna at these sports centres is dry and mixed, rather smaller and simple one, with the windows overseeing swimming pool.
Clothing etiquette: swimsuit mandatory.
